Maryland Ensemble Theatre

Celebrate local products, fresh food, and community at the Myersville Farmers Market! Explore seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh mushrooms, meats eggs and cheeses, baked goods, local honey, local spirits, bath and body products, locally made crafts, and more! The purpose of these markets is to build community spirt and engagement, as well as and to increase relationships between the artisans, crafters, and farmers with their customers. 

The outdoor season runs April 20th through October 26th, every Saturday morning. Located behind First United Bank & Trust, next to the Fire Company.

Join us for the grand opening of the new interpretive Iron Trail! The newly refurbished trail has 14 waysides that tell the history of Catoctin Furnace and ironmaking in the village. Meet at the trailhead at the lower Manor parking lot for the opening ceremony, then walk the trail for half a mile through woods, over two bridges, and across 200 years of history. The trail ends at the historic furnace and ironmaster's house ruins, where we'll christen Catoctin Furnace's first EV charging station!

The festival features four races, which all finish at the Frederick Fairgrounds. Runners can experience a big time race with small town charm with the added value of off-site packet pick-up in the suburbs of Maryland. Choose between a half-marathon and two-person team relay on Sunday or the 5K and Kids Fun Run on Saturday.
