A Civilized Literary Excursion (with Cake)

Are you ready to explore Downtown Frederick, Maryland in impeccable style and mild confusion?

Your Clippie will escort you on a scenic two-hour Frederick sightseeing tour, pointing out local landmarks, fascinating facts, and the occasional squirrel with suspicious intent. You’ll laugh, you’ll learn, endure discounts and you’ll probably wonder how we got permission for this.

First stop: The Curious Iguana, Downtown Frederick’s beloved independent bookstore, home to bestsellers, local authors, and at least one employee who definitely reads too much. Browse to your heart’s content, discover hidden literary gems, or simply pretend you’ve wandered into a BBC period drama about literacy.

Then it’s onward to Twin Bears Bakery, where the air smells of happiness, butter, and light moral compromise. There you’ll enjoy handcrafted pastries so good you may consider writing poetry about them (haikus are acceptable). This stop is a highlight among Frederick’s bakery tours, and you’ll quickly understand why it’s a local favorite.

Whether you’re a bibliophile, a foodie, or simply looking for unique things to do in Frederick, Maryland, Pages & Pastries is the perfect combination of books, bakeries, and double-decker bus charm. It’s a Frederick city tour for the curious, the hungry, and the happily confused, mixing stories, sweets, and scenic streets into one gloriously crumb-covered adventure.

Come hungry. Leave well-read.

Price: $36/pp

Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
