Holmes is on the case as the male heirs of the Baskerville line are being dispatched one by one.  To find their ingenious killer, Holmes and Watson must brave the desolate moors before a family curse dooms its newest heir.  Audiences watch as our intrepid investigators try to escape a dizzying web of clues, silly accents, disguises, and deceit.  Does a wild hellhound prowl the moors of Devonshire? Can our heroes discover the truth in time? The truth is far from elementary as Holmes and Watson try to solve the case as ONLY three other actors play 43 different characters, bringing Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic mystery to life on the stage. From the award-winning mastermind of mayhem, Ken Ludwig (Lend Me a Tenor and Moon Over Buffalo), comes a fast-paced comedy about everyone’s favorite detective.

Performances are every Friday and Saturday evening, with matinees on the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sunday of each month. In the evenings, doors open for dinner at 6:00 p.m. with the show beginning at 8:00 p.m.  On Sundays, doors open for lunch at 12:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 2:15 p.m.

Price: Friday Evening: $60 / Saturday Evening: $65 / Sunday Matinee: $60

Good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in this biting satire, as a troupe of performatively “woke” thespians scrambles to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month without any cultural stumbles.

After meeting Belsnickel, kids can make a holiday craft while you shop for unique handmade gifts at a European style holiday market. You can choose a fresh wreath to decorate with bows, balls, bells, pinecones, holly, icicles, and ornaments. Make your own or let our designers create one for you. A Holiday Haunting. A Timeless Tale. A Universal Lesson.

Celebrate the spirit of the holiday season with A Christmas Carol, presented by Maryland Ensemble Theatre. This beloved stage adaptation of Charles Dickens’ timeless classic brings to life the unforgettable tale of Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly man whose cold heart is transformed through a powerful journey of redemption.

On one fateful Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by three mysterious spirits—the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future—who guide him through prominent moments of his life, reveal the consequences of his actions, and offer him a chance to change his ways. Along the way, memorable characters including the cheerful and kind-hearted Bob Cratchit and his beloved son Tiny Tim, whose moving words, “God bless us, every one,” capture the story’s enduring message.

With heartfelt performances and magical staging, this production captures the warmth, wonder, and enduring message of hope and compassion that make A Christmas Carol a must-see holiday tradition.
